| I started my career at the BBC's Film Department in Ealing Studios.
After completing the BBC Film department Cameraman training course, and many years as an Assistant Cameraman, I then moved on to gain experience in the Regions at BBC Wales and Bristol before rejoining Film Department. In 1989 I transferred to BBC Television Centre to work in PSC Operations as a Lighting Cameraman/Camera Supervisor. I left the BBC in 2001 and have been Freelance since. My film and video experience covers a broad spectrum of programmes and locations, basically everything from Dramas to ENG, using Arri SR2 Film Cameras to the latest HD Tape,Disc & Card Camcorders. I have travelled widely, in Deserts, on Mountains, in Rainforests, around Minefields and in Revolutions, using both film and tape. During this time I have shot extensively from helicopters, light aircraft, trains, automobiles and terra firma. I like to think of myself as a good all-round Lighting Cameraman, willing to go to most places, most of the time. |
